WWG Connect for ESPN — Privacy Policy

WWG Connect is an optional browser extension that links your ESPN fantasy football league to Waiver Wire God so your roster syncs automatically. It is built to handle your ESPN session with the minimum access required and nothing more. This policy explains exactly what it does.

What the extension accesses

• Your ESPN session cookies (espn_s2 and SWID) — read from your already-logged-in ESPN session, only at the moment you click “Auto-fill with WWG Connect” in the Waiver Wire God web app. The extension does not read them in the background or on a schedule.
• The active ESPN tab’s URL — read only to auto-detect your league and team ID so you don’t have to type them. We do not read your browsing history or other tabs.

How that information is used

• The cookies are sent over HTTPS to Waiver Wire God’s server solely to read your fantasy roster and league and keep them in sync.
• On our server they are encrypted at rest (AES-256-GCM), used only for roster sync, and given a hard expiry that forces periodic reconnection.
• When you disconnect the league in Waiver Wire God, the stored credentials are deleted.

What we never do

• We never access Disney+, Hulu, ESPN+, account settings, billing, or stored payment methods — even though the ESPN session token can technically reach Disney services, we use it only for ESPN fantasy roster reads.
• We never see or store your ESPN/Disney password.
• We never sell your data, use it for advertising, or use it for any purpose beyond syncing your fantasy roster.
• The extension contains no remote code — all of its logic ships inside the package, and it will only respond to the official Waiver Wire God web app (no other website can request your session from it).

Data retention & deletion

Synced roster data and the encrypted ESPN credentials are retained only while your league is connected. Disconnecting the league deletes the stored credentials; you can also request deletion of your account data at any time using the contact below.
